Well if you're like me and have the settings set to 50 posts per page, you're actually nearer to the middle of Page 2

Well, bottom now... but middle when it finally goes to Page 3

...Set.. tings? Oh man, didn't know that existed. I'd probably change it to like half of what the default is.

Same for me, Exo Fifty replies per page is MUCH better than 20, or whatever the default is.

Ahh I'm different, I'd prefer like 10 (but I'm too lazy to go and change it). Especially for the pictures thread.

I've always liked 40 per page. It's a happy medium between load time and page count.

Yes, default is 20 and that's way too small.
