I have been waiting 5 years to bump this thread and prove myself right. Every night dreaming of the day this post, made 5 years ago, would be vindicated and Jeffs lunacy cast into the pit. Feels great man.

I knew I couldn't convince the fools at the time, so I vowed to return to this thread 5 years on and show that I was right all along. I am nothing if not a grudge holder.

Now, here at the edge of time I can use my cunning necromancy to bring back this thread and prove a past me correct. Tomorrow morning nothing will happen and I will gently masturbate my ego.

Ha ha, I did the same thing with two other threads. I've been waiting to talk shit the day after 12/21/12 since 1995. I am going to laugh my ass off at the paranormal radio talk show hosts who practically made a career of talking about tomorrow for years. I wonder if they have already started looking for new jobs.

It reminds me of the Y2K scare and how things were immediately after it turned 2000. I was hanging out at a swamp house with no television in the Louisiana wilderness. After it turned midnight, a friend at the house immediately called some friends in the French Quarter in New Orleans, and they said that absolutely nothing happened when it turned midnight. It was a really trippy and funny moment because there had been so much off the wall talk about the coming event.

To be fair, Y2K could've ruined a lot of things in the digital world. Nothing happened though, because vital hardware and software was replaced or updated.

Yeah, some software problems did actually transpire, too. But there was a whole army of people fixing that stuff beforehand due to the scare.

I know there could have been some computer issues, but so many people thought we would living in a post-apocalyptic world with a food shortage and without modern technology.
