I don't really know how to measure my height. Sorry.

Well my stepdad says I'm about 5'10 - 5'9, at a guess. But there's 40% possibility he might be right.

Shorter than me but not ridiculously short that you feel uncomfortable looking down on them.

I'm guessing most men find women taller than them emasculating.

I'm 5'9" ish, but I'm nowhere near finished growing. Fun thing is I was about 5'4" in September. This year.

Well we might as well list our heights, I'm curious about that too. I'm 5'8.

The trait of women preffering taller men is an evolutionary trait and can be expalined by natural selection. Our ancestors, women would have looked for bigger, taller men as this may have implied that they would recieve better protection (perhaps taller men are stronger) and would have been more able to survive and thus pass on her genes.

As far as men are concerned, there was a recent study done that said that men are attracted to fatter women (Tovee et al 2006). This may explain why men may be attracted to smaller women more then taller ones as it is more likely that smaller women will be fatter then taller ones. As mathematically it would take more for taller women to be fatter then smaller ones, I think. Confusing stuff huh???

But, speaking as a man, I sure its a pride thing to a degree. I mean you can't be in a relationship with a lady thats taller than you! (Tom Cruise did it along with alot of other weird things recently) I mean the man has to be the man in the relationship from his point of view. A taller girl is surely only a fetish thing for a guy.

I'm 5'11''. But I don't feel like it at all because I was shorter for the majority of middle school and some of high school. Inside I'm still feel like the small, easy going Butters I used to be. Sometimes I'll look at people who are 5'9'' and they will seem taller than me.

I think I have some deep seeded mental disorder.

I know what you mean actually, I was officially classed as Avarage height in my class when were doing measurements in class. Me and my friend Chris were exactly the same height.

Damn straight. Women with meat tend to have better curves anyway. Plus, there's something very un-sexy about ribs.

Yes, not profoundly obese, overweight women, but essentially women with fatter bottoms and breasts, as evolutionarily this implied that the women would be more likely to provide the babies with nutrients post and pre-birth and hence to pass on the genes of the man.

I'm 15 and 5'6". Pretty good for my genetics/age group. I'm not even close to stopping. I'll probably be around 5'10" or 6'0, like my dad.

heh, my growth spurt started around age 13, where I grew like 3 inches in 6 months.

A rather blunt way of putting it, but so you don't have to ask again; no matter what or who it is, there is someone out there that would be attracted to it/him or her. That becomes a creepy thought when you get down to thinking on the various things out there, but yeah..it's true.

LOL!! My son also prefers slightly "thick" girls over "stick" girls.

It all has to do with proportions, as long as the meat is in the right places, all is well.

I'm 5'11" by the way.

I'm 5'10" so I obviously prefer guys who are taller than me. My hubby is 6'3" and he's still taller than me even when I wear heels, which is cool.

Though I have dated guys shorter than me before and I think I felt more self-conscious about it than they did

You are lucky! I have a fairly short friend who is dating a fairly tall guy, and she says that her tall friends are all jealous because apparently there's a shortage of tall guys.. and she has one even though she could go for someone way shorter!

If I have to put any effort into looking into their eyes, they're wrong for me. I prefer taller guys, but not so tall that I'd have to strain myself holding my head up. If I liked a guy shorter than me, who knows?
