Goths Piss Me Off

"I hate everything, everything sucks, I like black, I like skulls, I am different, you are all normal, I am the only unique person in the world, everyone does not understand me, I will not take the time to explain what I think to you because you are inferior and don't care anyway, I hate my life, life sucks, I hate you, I hate..."

Self-absorbed, inconsiderate, selfish, bias, losers who are upset over the fact that they were ostracised during high school and so they make a blatant attempt at trying to get attention by dressing completely "different" or just always bitching and moaning about how much their life sucks.

Goths who are simply fans of gothic music and the theme of goths and don't make an effort to blatantly exaggerate that they are ignored and try to sap as much sympathy and pity from everyone are fine with me. Goths who do do that, which is a lot, (if not nearly all) of them, piss me off.

There is a world outside you asshole. Believe it or not, you do not have everything "figured out" and no one see's the same as you because you are so much more "enlightened" than the rest of the world.

Face it, you wish you had more friends and that your parents loved you more and that is the real reason for blatantly trying to gain everyones sympathy and your inconsiderate selfish-ass.

You cannot say anything to these self-loathing and selfish people without getting some cynical or pessimistic rebuttle such as, "Yeah, but then it rains, and soon you'll be dead, we're all going to die, but I'm going to die sooner because I'm going to kill myself because no one loves me."

Bah, I'm not going to continue.

If you are goth that is going to reply to me that "I dress because I want to be unique and special!" or "It is just my choice of fashion" or "I happen to like it and am very fond of it" or just.. whatever, I don't care, don't waste your time trying to convince me that depressing cynical goths deserve my sympathy, otherwise, I'm going to just agree with you and agree that, from now on, I will respond to anything these people with "depressing lives because my father won't let me drive the car" by saying something along the lines of, "Oh yes, you are right, your life does suck, oh my god. People who are not you have it so much easier. You deserve all my money and all the love I can give. In fact, I love you and want you body, and have all my money and everything that I am, because obviously the world rotates around you, asshole."

Ok I'm done, I guess.

goths -- the entire movement or lifestyle revolves around aesthetics, very hypocritical[/b]

this was in one my first posts on the forum. i've never really liked the movement... but i've learned to accept them as long as they don't try to bring me down.

It's like that with people and computers too. I can't tell you how many times a 2-year I.T. know-it-all has insulted the technology inteligence of some 16 year old kid that has been screwing around with computers since when he was four, like he just saw it on some movie and thought it was cool or something.

I knew some goths, dont know why they liked to be around me. I never dressed up like them. Just because I have some of the features that O'nus says. I really just like to be left alone. But I always have a word for people like that, "Followers". Yeah, some of them are just screwed up. and then theres the wannabie goths, which really do prove my case on the followers subject. Now that I think of it, I hate them too, I just dont like followers.

I did used to call myself goth, but I was nothing like that. I just wore alot of dark clothes and listened to metal. I figured that was what a goth was. but now I realize that is not true, and that labeling myself was stupid and a big mistake.

see i dont really know what i am. i just call the way i look. "Myself" i dress like whatever i feel like that day. i listen to whatever yet again based on my mood. i know that i dress in a lot of black. because its a cool color and i love dark colors. but i cant call myself any "Group" of people.

if you don't like them, why either bother slating them, o'nus, taosour. just let them get on with their own stuff.... if it spills into your life, just be polite to them and don't waste any unneccessary action.

Yes, they're a bit strange and depressing, but you can't go around critersising people for their beliefs, or how they chose to live their life.

perhaps you should just let it go.

Just making conversation. I felt like typing a rant about something and I happened to had recently had a debate with a Goth over why his life doesn't suck just because his dad didn't let him drive their car for the afternoon.

People like me (O'nus) piss me off

People like me go around and type a lot of shit out that causes a lot of problems. These people think that they can "enlighten" and "help" people by typing up all this crap and covering ever crevase of the problem as they can, but they also do this for everyone. These people go out of their way to help other people while asking for nothing, but they really would like some grattitude at least. So what happens? They go to sleep thinking, "What a bunch of ungrateful jerks, no thanks or anything" even though they didn't even ask for any thanks, it's just supposed to be "assumed".

I'd like to slam it in someones face like me when they try to "enlighten" anyone on a subject with the line, "Hey dick head, trying to help others while playing the role of an emotional welcome mat, huh? That's called being a zealous, selfish, martyr to your own accord. You want someone to thank you? Stop going out of your way to elaborate on superfluous and redundant crap!"

The truth is that these people have had alienated lives and spent a good portion of their time during high school out of social groups and without friends due to whatever reasons (moving around because they are not from Canada, military family, anti-social, etc.) and then continue to wish that they could be socially accepted but don't do a thing unless it comes to someone asking them to do a favour in which they do as much as they to try and get some "reward" or attention.

These people are usually also very attached to their mothers because no one else loves them and they will try to rationalize everything they do to try and better the relationship with their mother.

There how about that? I just destroyed myself.
