I have a goal to lose 100 pounds. Ok, so theoritically its possible, but practically its not...if I wanted to lose 100 pounds I'de have to lose muscle too hehe...and maybe some bone mass...maybe dump one of my kidneys hehe. But I assume that if I set the bar so high that I can't ever get to it...and I know that, then I can continue to work on getting as good as it gets right? lol. |

Heh, i've lost weight before. Hehe I know the drill. Moving around sucks for me everytime I move I gain a bajillion pounds...and I move like 4 times a year. |

You don't need to lose muscle. That is an anorexic way of thinking. Just get to an actually healthy weight, and you will have done what you need to do. |

Good luck, thats a lot of weight to lose. I've never really cared about weight myself, I prefer to go by how I feel and how I look. Alot of times a person will go through dramatic changes such as losing fat and building muscle but their weight will stay around the same. You seem to know what you want to do though and how you're gonna accomplish it so just stick with it and have fun. |

Why would you possibly want to lose muscle? Having a goal to just lose weight for the sake of losing weight makes no sense, unless you want to be like a jockey or you have to get into a lower weight class for some sport or something like that. But you should just be healthy, that should be your goal. I am guessing here, tell me if I'm wrong, but a large part of your motivation for this is to look good. Well, I think a lot of girls find muscular guys much more attractive. Plus, being muscular will help you keep the weight down. |

Why do you want to loose weight? Surely tone up would be the better option? Loosing fat and replacing with muscle will not make you as light as you think, since the muscle replacement is heavier than fat - although depends on how much of said fat you want to loose. |

For the record, Sandform...I don't know how young or old you are, but I am almost certain that a male wanting to be 100 - 120 lb's is extremely unhealthy. |
