Good thing: Feels real smooth and good and nice, and well worth it. I prefer it actually.

Bad thing: Cuts. Itching.

Worth it? YES. As long as you do it right.

So it's worthy of preference huh? You probably wouldn't get cuts if you used something electric to do it. I read somewhere that it only itches if you do it the wrong way. I'd tell you what I read, but i'd probably recall it wrong and make you give yourself friction burns or something. I wouldn't want to do that when you had such a good thing going.

You are correct, sir.

Also, as a woman (women have to shave more than men to be approved by male society--so we know what we're talking about here), I can give you a little advice for shaving those sensitive areas. If you use a woman's foaming gel (think something in a pink or purple can) with a men's razor (one of those snazzy, aerodynamic black-and-silver ones), you will get a smooth effect without the friction burn. This is because women's shaving products are made with all the stuff that keeps our skin soft and silky for you gentlemen and men's razors are specifically designed to cut coarse hair, like beard growth (hence, they work wonders on women's legs!). Men's shaving gels are generally very rough on your skin and women's razors are just plain crappy.

Also, if the foaming gel you used has aloe and/or cucumber in it, you shouldn't feel itchy. Cucumber extract is a marvelous moisturizer. I use a cucumber based lotion all the time.

Barring this, you could always go and get a wax. It's quick, it's painful, but it's effective.
