      the bicycles are cards... and as we all know there are 52 cards in a deck... the 53rd card was an ace... someone was cheating... someone was killed for cheating... next riddle please.

      Bicycle is both the brand name, and the picture on the back of the cards of said brand name...its the very old-fashioned style bicycle...the kind with the huge front wheel and tiny back wheel...also the person is riding it straight forward, so it deosnt look much like a bicycle to some people...

      an ace is the best card in the deck... if you have an ace up your sleeve you can make a good hand for yourself... people are killed in card games all the time... there's a lot of money at stake... also it never specified a year... so this could be in the old west days.
