      Answer these questions!

Can you get cornered in a round room?

Why is it that when things get wet they get darker, even though water is clear?

Which way does a compass point in space?

If our body temperature is normally 98.6 degrees, how come when it's 98 degrees outside, no one is comfortable?

If an atheist has to go to court, do they make him swear on the Bible?

Why is "Charlie" short for "Charles" if they are both the same number of letters?

Why do companies offer you "free gifts?" Aren't gifts by definition free?

No, but you can get backed up against the wall by alot of people.

      I don't know.

      Towards the nearest metal.

      I don't know.

      Probably.

Because English is fucked up like that.

Often times people want gifts for doing a favour for the other person. "Free gifts" implies no favours need be done .

      1. No I don't think you can get cornered.

      2. The light reflection is latent to the eye because it gernerally bounces more inside wet things opposed to just bouncing off.

      3. It would mostly point randomly.

      4. Because when the temperature is above 80 degrees, then the body's eternal heat is not able to flow away. a process known as Delta T.

      5. I would think so.

      6. because Char-lie has two syllables and Charles just has one.

      7. I think it's more Marketing/Advertising. The words "free" and "gift" attracts people.

Can you get cornered in a round room?
Sort of. Not literally cornered but you could get trapped.

Why is it that when things get wet they get darker, even though water is clear?
I think it's because they're becoming more dense.

Which way does a compass point in space?
It points to whatever has the greatest magnetic pull on it...I guess.

If our body temperature is normally 98.6 degrees, how come when it's 98 degrees outside, no one is comfortable?
It's hot inside us but we don't feel that on the outside.

If an atheist has to go to court, do they make him swear on the Bible?
We really shouldn't have this swearing on the Bible-.-...somewhere in the Bible it says you're not supposed to swear ...well to give a real answer, I guess they'd work something out, I dunno.

Why is "Charlie" short for "Charles" if they are both the same number of letters?
It's not really short for it, it's just a more informal way of saying it...ever watch "The African Queen"? With Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn? Bogie's character is Charles Allnut, but when they're in love she calls him Charlie all the time...it'd be kind of weird if she called him "Charles" it's all formal sounding, y'know?

Why do companies offer you "free gifts?" Aren't gifts by definition free?
      ...wow, I don't know.

      Yuh

Why is it that when things get wet they get darker, even though water is clear?

Its not darker its just that the bla bla bla...pigment something, bla bla.

Which way does a compass point in space?

      Probably nowhere specifically.

If our body temperature is normally 98.6 degrees, how come when it's 98 degrees outside, no one is comfortable?

      People are moans.

If an atheist has to go to court, do they make him swear on the Bible?

Nope. They can give some sort of personal oath.

Why is "Charlie" short for "Charles" if they are both the same number of letters?

      ;o

Can you get cornered in a round room?

No, because by mathematical definition, no circle has corners.

Why is it that when things get wet they get darker, even though water is clear?

It's because the object get's more saturated. Also, water isn't necesarily clear, that's just the way our eyes see the waves.

Which way does a compass point in space?

It will point in the direction of the most metal, or in the direction of the most gravitational pull.

If our body temperature is normally 98.6 degrees, how come when it's 98 degrees outside, no one is comfortable?

Do you feel the heat in your body? No, so you are not exactly used to feeling it where the nerves can pick it up.

If an atheist has to go to court, do they make him swear on the Bible?

He/She/Both can swear on something else, if he requests (One of the ammendments, the whole freedom of belief)

Why is "Charlie" short for "Charles" if they are both the same number of letters?

It's not short for Charles, it just is a more popular, slang term for it. You don't see people walking around saying "Hello Charles! Cup of tea at 6 o' clock?" do you? Well, depends on location...

Why do companies offer you "free gifts?" Aren't gifts by definition free?

Gifts are things that are recieved. You can pay for a gift. Also, that gift (no matter what it is) has to be paid for, because the giver had to pay, and even if it was a free offer, the company would need to pay to make it. Also, adding "free" to an offer makes it sound more appealing.

The answer to all of these questions is: You guessed it. 42.

But it could also be Chuck Norris if you wanted it to.

Chuck Norris IS the number 42.
