Thread: ...and WHY do americans wear shoes inside??

We don't wear our shoes in the house, here... Not normally at least..

I'll only do that if it's convenient, like if I forgot something or am not wearing sandals.

Usually when you go to other people's houses, depending on the occassion of course, they will have you just keep your shoes on.

yes, scwigglie is a girl, and the yummy bishi in the avatar is a guy, thus yummy...all makes sense to me

lets just say, americans come in 2 forms, actually 3, but we wont go there,... theres the sports type... they wear shoes... then theres my type, we are the propper form of society, i wear shoes outside, i wear slippers inside, i am very clean , shower daily, wash my hands, put the seat down... and i dont like the other very dirty type of people

uhh why? because we hate the smell of mouldy ass feet.
and also because england is so cold your feet freeze when you try to take your shoes off.

Walking around with no shoes on is one of the things I hate the most. It is another pet peeve of mine, now that I think about it. I just hate having dirty feet, for the most part...

I always get home, take my shoes off and then put some sandals/slippers on....
