      I love Binary

      In order to commemorate me reaching 2^10 posts, I will proclaim my love of all things binary.

      Because of binary, I now have an obsession with binary numbers such as 128, 256, 512, and 1024. I can effectively count upto 1024 with my ten fingers, and hexadecimal comes easily to me as I understand how to convert binary into hex. Hell, same goes with Octal.

      So I hereby share my love of binary to you all. Make of it what you will, but binary is by far the most interesting of all numerical systems.

      I prefer the decimal system, seriously. Hexadecimal if it is web design. Though I can only count up to three.

      Using binary is very useful when counting things on your fingers, it's very compact and if you exclude the use of your thumbs (use them as sign bits) you have a full byte to use.
