Err, GH, you okay, man? This is the first post I've seen from you in awhile here, and it's this?

I guess I should clarify, though most know already. Moss is my testing account. It's used for such things as testing permissions, access masks, new usergroups, the like. I let new Dream Guides use it to test their powers on in chat. It had green stars for a few minutes this morning because I was testing something in the mod CP, and an orange name before that due to new usergroup testing.

Thanks for mentioning the join date and post count, I'd just forgotten to reset them from when I was messing around with them early on.

As for basic courtesy, mind clarifying that a little? We've been over the chat issue before, and I assure you, we're cracking down on chat behavior much harder these days, and I personally made some changes to chat that I believe made a difference for the better. There is only so much that can be done, however.

I'm referring to the way so many people treat each other around here. There's a rash of chat spoofing (as if it ever stopped) by people with no intention other than to be real jerks to one another. I kind of hoped that people would have learned from the BS late last year but I see that nothing has changed. Chat spoofing is not funny, even when "funny things" are being said. It's rude and uncalled for. But people can't stop and trying to be funny. They think that being a dick is OK. Such is the trend of DV chat: rudeness and inappropriateness.

And, as usual, pretty much every topic intended to be serious turns into the same ole people jumping in with disrespect and idiocy. See: most topics.

But seriously, I recall Ninja saying somthing about seeing alot of trafic here letely, that maybe someone was trying to hack the system and I home this all clears up in the next few days. But you got to respect the Admins, Mods, and DGs for doing such a good job, I can tell they are making a hell of a difference!

Right... Well, fortunately, chat is an option. If you dislike the atmosphere, don't go in. I will say, though, that a lot of the problem is a few banned members creating new accounts and spamming rude messages in chat in the usually very short time it takes one of the staff to find them and re-ban them. The other part is typically longstanding members that think they can get away with crap just because they are longstanding members. That is not the case, as has been demonstrated lately. So progress IS being made. We're also looking into other options regarding chat.

Topics going off track happens in every forum I've ever been to. It's just a fact of fora. The best we can do is to redirect the discussion and get it back on track, or in extreme cases split the topic, which only creates confusion. Dreamviews' moderators are doing a great job, and will continue to do so.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see all the terrible and dastardly destruction that you seem to. There are the inevitable morons and trolls, but they ARE being handled. If you looked a bit closer you might see this.
