      Tell Me About Your Day

Seriously. I want to know. Did you do well at work today? Maybe you just chilled out and shot some b'ball outside of the school.

      I don't know. But I'd like to.

Tell me about your day, please.

Had to work yesterday, so I'm not doing a damn thing, today. So far I've been sitting around, watching the Olympics and checking out the DV and IMDb boards - I'm about to finally update my dream journal. Also having a few drinks and might hit the pool in a little bit. I'll probably set up my guitar equipment in the garage later on and jam.

Oh, and I do have a design project due by 3 a.m., tomorrow, so I suppose I'll get that done sometime today, too.

You present a portrait of adult life that is not altogether unpleasing to me.

      Interesting.

I woke up this morning, and walked through the house like a drone in silence.

No-one was home, and eating seemed monotonous.

I didn't bother to shower, and after peeing, went back to my room and got on the laptop.

Did some gfx related work, and browsed DV.

Chatted to ND, and then others for hours.

Remembered the "good old times", last year, and quickly forgot them.

It's almost 4am, and I've gotten out of bed 5 times. Thrice to use the toilet and twice for food.

Now I am going to lucid dream and wake up again and again, until I die.

      How was your day?
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

My day has been weird. Im in a bad mood and dont know why. Im usually thrilled when my boyfriend goes away for the weekend, because I really enjoy having the house to myself. Yesterday was fun, I did a bunch of random around the house things. Completely stupid and meaningless, but SO fulfilling.

Today, meh. Ive tried to clean the house a little because I keep thinking maybe Im grumpy because the place is in dissaray. But it usually is when I have the place to myself, and I love it, so Im not sure if thats the reason for my grumpiness. I do two things when the bf leaves. I make a huge mess, and I have a big plate of a particular pasta that I love. I dont know why. Anyway.

So Ive been fiddling around online and cleaning. Watching my cat catch flies and eat them. Modeling my new shoes for myself that my girlfriend gave me because she never wears them. Listening to some reggae. Ill have to leave the house at some point to watch my friends kid for a couple of hours. Also to look for stuff for my girlfriends stagette next weekend. The boy will be back from the island in the evening and we will probably ride our bikes around the seawall. Id like to read tonight as well.

Well, today was not so interesting. I'm on vacation in Brantford, Ontario, visiting with my grandparents, and I played tennis today on an indoor court with my grandfather. I won, but it doesn't matter. I also browsed quite a bit of "choice material" online. I played table tennis as well, and beat everybody in my family. I went on the Hedley forums for a good few hours, and I am currently watching the live scoreboard of a tennis match, where my favourite player, Andy Roddick, is losing, which pisses me off to no end. The score right now is 1-6, 4-5.

Lol, I actually didn't even notice how many tennis activities I did today. I guess I'm really used to tennis, it's such a big part of my life. Roddick lost, BTW.

I was woken up rudely, somebody yelling about my rabbit and what I wanted to do since I was moving. So since this is quite an important issue, I got up half asleep to argue my case. Of course, it wasn't about the rabbit, it was moreso about moving. So huge argument and I'm still half asleep. Then my parents decided I wasn't moving out and that was that. I argued some more, resolving to throw touchy statements. Anyways, I moped around for a bit, cleaned up and stuff, and went downstairs. There I listened to my parents and brother make plans about me moving. Yeah, like they didn't just make an announcement about how I wasn't. Make up your mind pfft.

I ate breakfast and vacuumed. I played around with my rabbit a bit. Then I decided to go outside and photograph my brother, for practice. This wasn't a great idea coz he didn't listen to anything I said. I did get a couple of ok pics. I browsed the internet for a bit. I decided to go to work, with my dad and brother. On the way to work we had to drive back twice because once, my dad had forgot his glasses and cell, and second, because he forgot his office keys. Anyways, he decided I didn't have anything to do at work and we shopped instead. I ate a fish sandwich. I had to get some rabbit food, and I found a great bag! We browsed some other shops and they got some stuff. This actually took a lot of time. My dad had to get some stuff from work and we got some pizza hut and went home. Here I am.

I wrote way too much. It was such a boring day too. Boo Sundays.

Its eleven. Woke up early, had cake for breakfast. I enjoy baking, but I always end up having to eat shit loads of cake because of that, which is not enjoyable. On the other hand, I also need to put on weight.

Feel ill. Purposefully didn't record my dream. Kind of wish I hadn't spent yesterday drinking whisky with a friend and waxing sentimental about our collapsing social circle until about 4 AM last night.

Found a saucepan for a flatmate who's just moved in and put a little cooking equipment set together for him as a present. Bought a USB stick, went to the library to go on the internet.

In a little while I'm going to go home, hopefully help someone who's storing stuff in my house move. Make sure a homeless friend who's staying with me is happy, read for my dissertation and hopefully invite a friend around to watch nature videos or something in the evening.

Hope you have fun wherever you end up, Xox. :]

Well done helping the homeless, apachama.

Yesterday I woke up late (12'ish) because it was simultaneously Summer holidays and a Sunday. Washed my hair, ran out of conditioner, internet'ed until around 3'ish, then investigated the outside world for a little bit.
      Then fled back to internet.

Ordered a Zen Creative that should be arriving in the next 2-4 days, which is nice. Broke my iPod by dropping it, and then taking it apart in a moment of temporary insanity (I thought I was an iPod technician - turns out I don't know what to do after taking it apart).

Also watched two Friends episodes I have never seen before. This is a rare occurrence.

      Constructive day.

Well, today is monday and its not quite over yet so I will tell you about my sunday...which was a great day.

I wokeup early, around 8:30am or so....Turned my pc on and browsed around for HDTV's because I finally decided to get one.

So then I sit in my room before anyone else is awake...I lock my door and just have a small smoke in the closet and then played some Grand Theft Auto 4 on my ps3 just messing around and very buzzed from smoking.

Then at around 12 I got in the shower..shaved and headed to best buy.

Now the TV I got was a Dynex 26'' 720p widescreen HDTV

I buy it, bring it home...hook it up to my PS3 and did a quick channel search to see how HD programming looks. I was blown away by the sharpness and clarity of the picture. So then I decided to pop in a few games to check them out in HD.

For about the rest of the day/evening/ and night I played Gran Turismo 5 Prologue/Metal Gear solid 4/ and Grand theft auto 4

I must say, it was a glorious day.

Then I watched some olympics in HD and went to bed.

It's interesting, for one day I was so excited by the HDTV I actually forgot about ALL of my problems for a good deal of time, thank you tv!

That's something, when all of your life problems melt from memory due to the amazing quality of 720p

It's karate time downstairs. Sounds like they're breaking stuffs.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Its not really like that. I stayed on her sofa for a few months a while back when visiting my own flat was a horrible idea. Her situation is just the normal thing of having a few months without a permanent adress. Last time it happened to me it was a dreadful experience, so I tend to worry for people going through it. I probably made it sound worse than it is.

Its interesting to hear about all these different normalities, crisises and small events that make up everyday life all over the world. Thanks for the thread Siиdяed.

Well my day started by going to sleep...because the previous day I was awake all night... Then I went and called some people talked to them...I started to pack a few things for my flight on wedensday...and then I called some people some more...and then I think I watched T.V.

There wasn't much to tell...Talk to me on wedensday or next monday I'll have more to say.

I accidentally unearthed a treasure trove of '90s electronic and indie CDs while trimming my toenails.

I worked out the whole day! Most of it. I also discussed important things and ate boring food.
