Sig & Avatar Help!

I've been experimenting with my sig and my avatar again. Well, I was trying to have it so the pikachu in my avatar would peek out, then disappear, then the pikachu in my sig would peek out, and then disappear, etc. I remember that someone here had an avatar with a stickman walking into a door, then dropping into the sig, then walking into a door and reappearing in the avatar. I kinda wanted to do something vaguely like that.

Can anybody help?

Um. You'll need to know how to edit those .gifs. Then its easy, you both set them to the same speed and then the first pichachu pops out and it takes an X amount of frames, then it pauses for the same amount of frames. The 2nd picachu pauses for the same amount of X Frames in the beginning, then pops out.

Well, until I figure the gif-editing thing out, I'm just gonna use other gifs for now...

well, I have a flash program that can do those stuff... I would try to help you but you can't read flash animatoins if you don't lhave it downloaded into your computer. I guess the stickguy walking into the wall- that was all about timing. YOu'd make an animatoin of a guy walking through the door for 3 seconds, then for 4 seconds, the guy would be walking out the other door or something

It is quite a bit of work to get done, and it dosen't work perfectly well in any case.

Google "unFreeZ" (a free gif compiler), then make each frame of the animation in .gif format. Use unfreez to compile them together. You'll have to time it all yourself, but that's how you do it.

Well, I found one program called Easy Gif Animator and I'm getting a free trial. Unfortunately, it doesn't let you manipulate frames but display length -- in 1/100 sec. So if each gif is 250, then what would I have to change one or both to to get the effect I want?

there might be a flash player free trial. It's good stuff once you know how to manupulate them. You can draw and make your own animatoins

Ehh, forget it. I pretty much have it -- but I'm such a perfectionist, it bugs me when they both pop out at the same time. So rather than drive myself insane with synching and a stupid gif editing program that doesn't work like everyone else is telling you it should, I'm just gonna use other gifs and other pics. So there.
