Thread: List everything that is RIGHT with the world!

We already have enough scare mongerers, sensationalists and downers on the news 24/7, so why bring it to this forum to fixate on? List things that are right about the world:


-Music, period
-The artistic tendencies in human beings
-That the world is alive and constantly changing. People may see a constantly changing world as a bad thing, but seriously, how boring and pointless would it be to have a universe that never changed? Change is GOOD and NATURAL. It happens all the time and all around us, for better or worse. Usually better, because change in itself is better.
-That we finally have a black president for the first history, and came quite close to having the first ever female president
-That only a decade or two ago, sodomy was illegal in 20 states and gays were viewed as criminals, and now we're in the midst of trying to accept gay marriages.
-Love and sex
-Lucid dreaming
-All the intellectual free-thinkers on this forum, confirming to me that this forum is not some freaky wishy-washy cult place, and I'm not a gullible nutjob for being here and believing in lucid dreaming
-Laughter, and its profound effects on health
-The internet; the fact that even though we're all over the world, we can still argue about religion, world issues and love animals, dreaming and art together
-Longer life and higher quality living in almost all parts of the world compared to centuries ago
-The ability to disagree and think for ourselves
