time travel for the big minds

Ok this has bothered me for a long time. But here goes.
i need big minds and dreamers are big i think?

lets say that you are bob/sally and bob/sally has a time traveling device (cant spell machiean). bob/sally has just lost his/her chance with his/her boy/girl friend. he/she goes back in time to change what he/she did wrong. lets say the thing he/she did wrong was forgot his/her friend birthday. bob/sally writes a not reminding him/her self about the birthday

now this brings me to my point bob/sally went back in time becouse he/she forgot the birthday but since he/she went back and remindend him/her self which would mean no reason for him/ her to go back in time to remind him/her self bringing us back to the begining right.....

....unless pi=3.1415..... and i like pie.....

....unless there are like in "planet of the apes" series there is a unlimited number a realities like if you had to choose between apples oranges or grapes each one would have its one reality so in the food choice you had 4 choises (none of them being a choice) .....

      .....am i rambling....

...im done then what are your inputs on this for the big minded

Wait... i thought you meant something else...

I think that destiny is already decided and that if you go into the past then it wont change anything...

FOr instance: BOB goes back in time with a time MACHINE to write a note... Somehow, some way, the note will be lost, itll dissapear, or something that ensures that nothing will change anyones actions.

Like if you went into the future and discovered that your friend became a drug dealer, nothing that you say or do will change the future because destiny is already decided...

      THats just what i believe...

      That was a semi-pwn lol.

Anyways if something like that really happens I’d suppose the multi-universe theory is right. The bob/sallys that changed their past would be changing some other bob/sally's past, not their own.

If there are infinite realities, then it still wouldn't change. Everybody is standing in front of a mirror (their own reality) and then they move one spot to the left and change it, it would pretty much stop the movement all together. Hence, a paradox.

Look, time machines are real! I've got one myself! It's hung up on my wall and it's got 3 hands, a second hand, minute hand and a hour hand, with numbers all around the edges of it!

Yes. You are confusing. Some of your posts bear resembalance to that of a train crash involving several English teachers and an alien language several universes away.

You're confusing because you had the audacity to put "he/she" "joe/marry" "tomatoe/tomata" in for every word that was supposed to be a pronoun. God forbid you let us use our own mind to fill in the blank!

Going back in time is tricky, but not impossible. However, since a human could never survive the trip I think it's pretty much a moot point.

I think he believes time travel is impossible for humans because it involves traveling through a blackhole, but Stephan Hawking recently figured out that there would be weak points in the hole that would allow a craft to pass through relatively unharmed.
