Sorry, but this is long, and probably the first real confession (of sorts) in a few pages.

For some reason, I always seen to be in the middle of family drama....and it isn't my own family. A LOT of my friends have family problems that I don't think should be problems. There have been more tear stains on me than I can count in the last few years, from my best friend in particular. As much as I like to help her, I honestly think her and her family need more help than I can give. Her and her older brother are taking care of their mother who (I'm sad to say) cannot take care of herself. She constantly tells me that her mom has not been deserving of the title of "Mother" for a long time. This does not sit well with me. She keeps telling me that her brother, who is 24, can't take care of her by himself and that they've discussed putting her in a nursing home because they're sick and tired of caring for her. My view is that he is 24. He does nothing but play video games and sleep all day. He keeps saying that he wants to get a job, but he never goes to look for one. I've suggested to my mom that they need a social worker. They clean their house every blue moon and it doesn't help that they have cats. Whenever she stubs her toe she's too sick to go to school. She could've completely avoided summer school. I'm just lost at what to do. I've tried telling her these things one step at a time, but every time it turns into another round of "You don't live there, she's horrible, she takes us for granted, he can't do it by himself, I can't wait to leave, she hasn't been a mother in a long time..."

And then we're back at square one.

There's more but those are the basics.

The only reason I don't move away and forget my family is my little sister. She is the only one in our crazy fucked up family that I truly feel love towards. I contemplate the distant day when she turns 18 and wonder if she'd move away with me. My mother is a confused woman with messed up priorities and a weakness for alcohol, who abandonded my baby sis. Our father is a religious man who tries to cram any opinoin of his down your throat and thinks if you consider any other religion other than Catholic, then you're a satanist and you're going to hell (not trying to bash any religions there). Not to mention our sadistic step father... with all of this combined I worry greatly for my sister and her mental, emotional and physical health. I wish I knew a way to help her.

I'm actually scared for AT&T.

They lifted the block on img.4chan already. Besides, the stupid script kiddies on /b/ can't do anything but complain to customer support even if they didn't remove the block.

They couldn't do anything legally...but there are other things they could have done.

Even thought the block was lifted, it's an attack against net neutrality.

I doubt anything will happen to them though, since it was because of the spoofed IPs thing, and they quickly lifted the block.
