Two-thousand ten rarely, mainly it's just 20-10 and has been since I started college (will graduate in the class of '10 (oh-ten), so often hear about twenty-ten).

I've always said two-thousand and ten, just because no one ever says "twenty-eight" or "twenty-nine."

I say it both ways, but usually two-thousand and ten~

I don't think I'll ever be able to say 20-x, it'll forever be two thousend and x.

"Hey man, remember back in the 20's.."
"Hey man, remember back in the twenty 10's.."

Opposed to...

"Hey man, remember back in the 2000's.."
"Hey man, remember back in the 2000 10's.."

Which sounds better now..?

I say two-thousand (and) ten, pretty much always omitting that "and".

I don't see any reason not to say twenty-ten. We've been grouping the first two digits of every other century together for a while, so why stop now? I mean, wouldn't it sound rather stupid to refer to the year 1920, for example, as the year "one thousand, nine hundred and twenty" as opposed to the much simpler "nineteen twenty"?

I don't really care either way. It's just natural for me to say "two-thousand ten". Pretty much everyone in my area says it that way. I don't have any real reasons for prefering one over the other though...it's just natural to me.

20-10. It takes way to long to say two thousdand ten.

I even say 20-09 as twenty oh nine.

Ynot, I think you made a small mistake in the number. it's 12, not 10.

Tee minus two years. It just sounds cool.
