I also enjoy the double cheese burgers. Mcdoubles though, are not as good. That one more slice of cheese for 13 cents is the ticket.

I prefer Burger King myself (McDonalds doesn't taste as good outside of the US, for some reason), but there's actually no fast-food joints close to either my university or there I live... it's actually quite unbelievable.

IMO a burger is really just a home-made ground beef patty, broiled, on a bun, with maybe some lettuce or onion or pickle, and definitely some ketchup, and maybe some mayo and mustard.
Really all I can say from my experience yesterday is that less is more.
