      No! Im so annoyed!!!

I'd been too scared to successfully go through with a WILD. Ive got close twice before.

So i was trying the finger tapping technique all morning, because i was having a lie in, and i was in a sleepy state and in and out of conciousness, the whole morning, pretty much a good state for dreaming for me.

So the finger thing wasnt working, probably because i was too tired, or not tired enough at times.

I was just lying there, feeling sleepy, then i rolled over on my back. I then remeberd hearing something from the forums, about focusing on your exhales, with each exhale making you feel heavier.

And then bam! I mean, litterally 5 seconds later (im guessing i wasnt as awake as i thought) i felt like i was sinking, and i just knew that i was wilding.

I had dreaded this for ages, but it was nothing like i expected. I was sinking so fast it was actually so much fun. Then i started feeling like i was shaking, i could hear very loud white noise, or wind in my ears. I was also paralysed from what i could tell. So i was shaking and hearing this noise, sort of in waves, like on a roller coaster.

      ......wwwooooahhhhhhh..........wwooooAHHHHHHH..... .woooooaaaaHhhhh...

I was really enjoying it. But the problem with windling is, that for a good amount of time through the process, i am still very concious of other things going on in the world around them. And that is what ruined it for me. I heard my mum coming up the stairs, and my WILD started to fade. I hadn't even got to enter my dream. I felt power to my body coming bad, very slowly. Then my mum laughed very loudly at somthing my dad said, and it was like someone had flicked a switch. I realised just how far down the WILD road i was, because it felt like someone at yanked me from the wild state, all the way back to fully mobile, boring, reality.

      Man...Im not happy >_<

But at least im not scared to try again.

Yeah, outside noises suck. Especially voices. You could wear earplugs to sleep, or even listen to soft music. I can't vouch for people walking in your room though...

Maybe you should use earplugs next time, or perhaps try Deild. With Deild you just go right into the dream nearly instantly. Just don't move at all next time.

      ^Probably
