      trouble waking up

      My boyfriend likes for me to be available for him 24/7...including while I'm sleeping. He calls me daily in the middle of the night. I'm dreaming one moment, and then realize he is yelling the next. I don't wake up right when he calls, and because I don't he immediately gets upset. I entwine my dream into our conversation, and eventually realize that he is actually trying to talk to me. How can i change this?

      You could tell him to shut the fuck up and go back to sleep. After you've done that 2-3 times he should have learned not to call you in the middle of the night - problem solved.

      I'm gonna agree with everyone else. You need to date someone who respects you. If he can't comprehend that you are a human being who requires sleep for their physiological wellbeing, and then grows angry with you and abuses you for not staying up all night just to talk to him... IMO there is something verywrong with that.

      But if you don't think so... I don't know. I think it's natural to react that way to a phone ringing, especially if you are in a deep sleep when he calls. Maybe ask him to stop being a prick, or at least call you at a designated time? Why isn't he sleeping?
