      Napping around work....

Im wondering how anyone works their naps around their work schedule. I work 8.5 hour days, I think it will be terribly difficult to find a place to actually nap. Is there anyone who has attempted polyphasic sleeping who also has a job where they can not sleep at work? I can't sleep in my car either. Any ideas?

Just tell them you're going to take a shit, then find a spot to nap (in the bathroom would be most convincing, but probably not the most comfortable.) Just don't snore

I'm narcoleptic. Naps are a regular. Yes, I agree, the restroom is common for me.
Lid down of course. Place something metallic in one hand rested on your leg. Mine is my tape measure. Once you fall into deep sleep you'll drop the object hopefully waking you. This may not be enough time for most, but its worth a shot.

      I have a simple solution

      http://www.amazon.com/Sonic-Alert-SB...0201653&sr=8-4

thats what i use and it wakes me up everytime. I use it to nap in my car.

You can also put it under your pillow. makes no sound and is super powerful. And it runs on regular batteries

well, you can still nap if you work like that.
lets say you get up at 7 in the morning and arrive at work at 8.
8,5 hours later is half past 4 in. get home, take a shower yeah something and then nap .
