      Does stress affect dream recall?

Ok, so like recently, i fell into another one of those times where i think life sucks and i feel all alone in the world, like no one cares for me, and if i died, life would go on unchanged, a mere scratch in the wind... but thats not the point, the point is that i havnt remembered any dreams since this started (about a week ago).

Meh, you'll get over it. I don't mean that in a harsh way, but I've been out there and you look back at yourself and laugh.

As for the recall, yes it does! If you are strerssed, then your brain won't function the way it should. That (generaly) means screwed up dreams, dryspells, and bad recall.

I don't laugh either, but it usually helps other people when I say I do.

It is apparent you can see through my sheet of LIES!

And do you get up without first mulling over your dreams and dream feelings?

I suggest trying to express how you feel in your dream journal
Are you happy, sad, comfortable, angry, irritable, etc
Try express what that orange sky/light is all about.. what does it mean to you..
      Something might come to you
      Hope that helps

What age are you? I found myself like this sometimes as i was growing up. I blame hormones...

(Lol listen to me being all high and mighty, im only 17 :p)

Perhaps meditation would be good. It gives you control and understanding over your thoughts and emotions - and more importantly, your dreams ;D

Yeah, I'm going through that crap right now. I can barely remember my dreams at all, when I usually have great recall...I'm currently trying to find ways to calm down so I can not only remember my dreams, but so I can have restful night's sleep.

One thing that really helps is talking to someone. I spoke to a good friend of mine, and it really helps, just letting it out you know? Just speak to any one person. That's all it takes
