      Dinner, tea and Dreams

Last night I had a cup of tea with my dinner, alter that night i had a long and vivid dream, do you think it could be due to the sugar in the tea increasing tryptophan (therfore serotonin therefore melotonin)? I've oftened wondered why I had low dream recall when i didnt drink tea with dinner, might jsut be a coinsidence. I'm considering doing a research project on it.

Well, Im guessing sugar boosts your awareness and stuff like that in dreams. So yes. Sugar is probably the reason for this.
Or maybe tea has some other kind of ingredient that may cause it that I don't know of

Maybe I'll put some sugar in my tea tonight. I drink a cup of tea (usually Earl Grey) before bed, but never with sugar.

I really don't know whether sugar would affect dreams at all, there's a chance it was just a coincidence.

Tea decreases my recall but the dreams I have are vivid . It's odd.
