      Has this ever happened to you while dozing off? I think it's pretty common...

      I've heard someone mentioned it before, but I'm not sure how people refer to it here.

      Have you ever, while almost falling asleep, imagined that you were walking, and then imagined that you misstepped or tripped over something? When this happens my body twitches. Bit weird.

      Does this occurance have a name?

      You wake up and jerk right? If so then yeah happened to me often. Pretty weird. Wish I could dream of flying then wkae up and fly XD

      It's kind of weird; I had about four hypnic jerks back to back to back last night. It was bizarre! I usually only get them while taking very fragile naps in class.

      I periodically twitch when falling asleep, or even in dreams .
      Like when you're dreaming that you fell from a cliff, or when you try to punch, or when you get shocked/startled. So it's probably natural for me.

      I get this all the time. I tend to get it when I'm really tired and falling asleep, which makes it incredibly annoying since it stops me staying asleep.

      I tend to get this just as i'm falling asleep, I usually feel like I just fell really hard on my back or slammed into the floor.
