      Mobile Operating System

      What mobile operating system do you use.. or which operating system would you want to use...

      I use Android, on a Motorola Milestone. It's one of the best operating systems but it's not quite open enough for my taste. All good operating systems should let you get root if you want, without hacking your device.

      Yeah, In a few years.. I'm pretty sure it going to become the biggest (Market Share and Tech Wise)... The root thing was kinda disappointing... I had rooted my phone and installed a different firmware but the lack of support just let me down... MoDaco was a pretty good rom, but.. (I got scared, I would lose my guarantee) so I unrooted and installed the Original Firmware...

      Other than that, the OS is amazing for me.. (My one has a HTC UI ontop of the OS, so it looks amazing)

      Are Linux based. I believe they've mostly got a modified kernel.

      Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what he meant... The large majority of Operating Systems are based on Linux...
