Aside from Skype

Aside from Skype, what app/software do you use to join a meeting when you're not in the office? My Dad is having a hard time using Skype, more often than not he gets disconnected. Any recommendations?

there are commercial products available, like gotomeeting, webex, jabber - most corporations have one of their choice.

I have heard about Omnijoin. I'm still planning if I'm gonna use it. But anyway, thank you Raipat for your suggestions. I'll also get to know about these

Discord is a good app that allows you to have a permanent chat room (both with a selected group and privately) and features voice chat as well. It's technically for gamers, but my friends and I used it to replace Skype because it's less clunky and stuff and rarely use its game features. I don't know if there is any kind of video calling, but it works great for everything else.
