Whenever I store text on my ipod (Notes), it stores the complete file, but I can only view roughly the first 5000 characters of the file on the ipod screen, as if it didn't store the whole file (it does though). |

You've gotta split the file manually, although I think there are some programs out there that do that. Other than that you can always replace the firmware, I've tried RockBox (http://www.rockbox.org), and it allows the viewing of large txt files (as far as I know there isn't a limit). But I'd try searching for a program that automatically splits the file. |

Yeah it only displays the first 4KB which is 4000 characters |

Thanks everyone. I have been trying to do it manually but I thought there was a better way. |

Yeah, but rockbox is meant for supernerds who have all their music in .ogg vorbis and .flac. There's some other cool things you can do like run other programs, but it's really not practical. |

Not sure. I never use the equalizer, as it kills battery life. And the 5G has shitty enough batter life as it is. |
