Okay I have Winamp and Windows Media Player installed on my PC and I cannot seem to play files of the format .avi

I aquire a specific driver for playing .avi-video files which I obviously do not have. Can anyone here help me out by leading me to where I can download the Proper Driver to play .avi-files?
