      Question about Smartphones and computer internet connections

      Does anyone here know or used they're Smartphone to connect their PC to the internet.

      My true question is if you need to have an extra service like "Phone as a modem" added to make happen or because its like a small PC, your just sharing the internet you get off the phone and transfer it to your PC.

      I need to know, my wallet is on the line here.

      I used my Sony Ericsson as a modem once for internet browsing and got hit with with a £200 phone bill lol. I didnt know I had used so much, but rates have changed recently.

      Dont know where you are from though but if you are concerned I would contact your phone company.
