      Address bar problem..

I have a URL in my address bar history that won't go away. The address is http://www.dreamviews.com/ and even when i go to "Clear History", the URL stays in the address bar history when i type the letter "d" in the address bar...

It also happens with youtube.com. Can anyone tell me how i can rid of these URLs and clear them from my address bar history?

What is the browser and version that you are using? You will most likely need to clear more than just browser history. Go to Options or Tools and clear the cache, as well as any saved forms you may have.

If nothing works, turn the autocomplete feature off.

I presume you are using Internet Explorer?

Right-click on your task bar (the bar at the bottom where windows appear, right of the Start button) and select Properties. Then switch to the "Start Menu" tab and click the Configure button. In the newly appearing window go to the second tab and click the button to clear the list of recently used documents.

I'm real bad with computers, so sorry if i sound like a complete idiot, but is this what i do?:

Right click task bar > select properties > switch to "start menu" > click configure button (says "customize" on mine but whatever) > click "advanced" and then click "Clear List"?

I know you got the program, but it might have been cookies with your login info for both sites that kept the address.
