I've "downloaded" Photoshop CS2 using Azeureus Vuze. It's an ISO file. However, I don't know what to do with it now. I've tried burning it using CDBurnerXP. It kind of works in that there is now an ISO file on the rewritable CD. I've tried opening that on the CD but it's not doing anything. |

Ah thank you very much. |

Err, I just unzipped and installed my iso. A lot easier. |

ISOs can generally be opened with archivers like WinRAR but that basically requires you to waste double the space. And considering that disk images (especially of DVDs) can be quite large, it's a better idea to use emulators. |
|
maybe... for my photoshop though, it didn't take up a lot of space. Right click, unzilp, crack, and go! No extra program download required. |
|
Well, emulators are mostly used by gamers. You don't want to extract the data from a game disk considering all the copy protection nowadays. Let alone if you don't have a crack and the protection isn't enough to detect the virtual drive for what it is, that way you can keep the image mounted in the virtual drive and it's the same as having the game disk inserted. |
|
Can someone explain cracking? |

It means that you replace the original binary file (or various authentication files) of the application with "cracked" equivalents that have been edited (through hex editing, decompiled or otherwise...I'm no expert) and the verification mechanisms subdued or removed. |

Id recommend daemon tools also, once you've installed photoshop you can unmap the image and forget about it. |

1) Don't ask people to help you with your warez in a forum, where it isn't allowed. |

I maybe a bit late on posting this but it is best to get a program like Nero and burining the ISO to the disc under "Burn Image to Disc" option or something similar, that way the ISO will be opened and the files contained in the ISO will be burnt to the disc and when you load the disc into your computers drive it will load the install program. |

Please guys - discussion about illegal stuff like software piracy is not allowed on the open forum. Either be careful how you discuss it, or talk about it somewhere else. |
