      Doom 3 is crashing my 360

      I just downloaded the backward compatibility package and installed it on my 360. Doom starts to load, it gets to the part where it says "Press Start to Begin," when I press start it crashes to whole console, not even my dashboard will show up. Does anyone else have Doom? How did you fix this?

      I've had Doom 3 a while and haven't run into this problem, though you might want to try clearing your 360's cache and see if that helps at all.

      Go to the system blade on the dashboard and then select memory, Press Y on the Hard Drive symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a message will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

      Do so, and see if that helps at all.

      What model do you own (production date?)

      The Core/Premium or the Elite/Halo3 edition?

      It is important since each has a slight but massive in the end - difference in their flash.

      Also the older models have more hardware mistakes inside thus they are more gullible to hangup...

      It's fairly new, I only bought it just before Halo 3 came out.
