I believe that that is a function that is specific to those special pen hardware devices. I don't know what they're called. I don't see how else they could measure pressure, all trackpads are heat sensitive as are touchscreens. |

No, it can be used with a tablet, but it should also work without one. I mean, I don't have a tablet and this option used to work for me. Its just supposed to simulate pressure at the ends of the lines. |

Not exactly. Fade doesn't give quite the same effect as pen pressure. Also, even if it did, I would still want to find out WHY these three options are not working when they should be. |

I found the problem. You do have to have a tablet for the options to show up, but you don't necessarily have to be using the tablet for them to work. For example: you can stroke a path with the pen pressure option, as long as you have your tablet plugged in. |
