      Gahhh Linksys Problem

Ok so i dont know what my dang password is for my linksys router, my uncle had changed it and of course had told me and i wrote it down, but now i dont know what the heck it is (hence i lost the little slip of paper..)

Does anyone know the URL in IP form of linksys?

And does anyone know how to get the pw? Without going through linksys technical support?

(p.s. uncle is "away" at the moment, so i cant ask him.. haha)

You can call your ISP. They should be 24/7. That's what I did when that happened.

Besides that, I'm not very tech savy.

get IP of router (and all other machines on your network) with this
      http://www.angryziber.com/ipscan/

Hard resetting router (pin-hole button somewhere) will usually reset firmware back to factory settings (including changing password back to the default factory password)
This will wipe all other settings as well, just so you know

Hard reset, and google for the standard factory password for your router

Small point, just thought I'd mention

make sure you've set the display to "only alive" in the top right corner of the settings

Otherwise you'll get every IP in the range you scan, no matter whether it's used or not

Does this mean that Wanted's stoned buddy was unable to assist you?
