mp4s play with massive sound lag

I'm playing it in quicktime, any recommendations?

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

Could just be the file itself. Did you get it from the iTunes store or rip it yourself? If you're converting it from another file type, then use Quicktime Pro, not iSquint. You can check the file by seeing if other movie players do the same thing. I think Flash Player can handle mp4s.

Also make sure that you are running the latest version of Quicktime. Do a Software Update.

Did you recently upgrade to Leopard? I had a problem like that after the upgrade too. You have to zap the PRAM. Reboot your computer and hold Command + Option + P + R until you hear it chime the second time.

I'm windows, and is command just another word for control?

I don't think its the file though I haven't tried any other mp4s, the comments on this download don't say anything about sound lag.

You could always whack it into VLC. It doesn't require a codec so it should probably work. If it doesn't, it's probably the mp4.
