Mp3 player trouble, can't seem to get my computer to read the majority of my mp3 files on the device
Ok I have this probably stupid problem, when I plug my mp3 player in my USB drive, and open on Windows media player, or Winamp, instead of my SanDisk sansa mp3 player, I get a Removable Disk (F
that only has the most recent synced mp3's but I almost have 500mb's of music so there has to be more songs then just those (well oviously) my brother fixed it once, but it reverted back just recently (don't ask what caused it to, I don't know) but he's not here right now, and won't be in along time.
I had a screenshot but for some reason I can't upload it anywhere from this computer.

do you use an expansion card with the player?

I cannot so the majority of the files only the ones I happened to save in that folder removable disk f.
No I have no expansion card for my player

with the mp3 player plugged in (so you've got the F: drive)
can you goto
control panel -> administrator tools -> computer management
then onto the disk management section
and do a screenshot (making sure all drives are visible in the window)?

it's not what I originally thought
sorry
go into the settings of the mp3 player
and look for any usb settings
you want to change the usb settings to Mass Storage, or MSC (Mass storage class)(\_ _/)

Well i solved the problem by just clearing the mp3 player the songs on it were getting boring anyway now I should beable to put all my mp3 files in the folder on my computer and it will hold all of them in there instead of in the original storage, the good thing about that is I guess I can just put mp3 files right to the folder instead of syncing them.
