      Angry PS2 game not opening

So I went to load my DDR game, and I got a message to the effect of "System data corrupt. Cancel load?" Pushing "no" just makes the message pop up again and again, and obviously pushing "yes" just cancels the load. What the heck is going on? It loaded fine two days ago, and then yesterday all of a sudden it was corrupt. Is there any way to fix this? THANKS!!

I had this problem for ages, I looked in the disk thing and it said disk was unreadable.

Unless this game is scrathed of has a smudge on it, I'd say your lazer is broken or dirty so it can't read the game.

Or there's alot of dust in the ps2.

Now I clean my lazer a few times by breaking the seal and opening some areas with a screw driver, being incredibly careful. Then get a small cotton bud and a bit of gin and gently wipe the lazer.

It seemed to work for me.

      Gin?

You can get second hand PS2s for about twenty pounds nowadays so try that if you're a bit nervous about opening it up.

Your memory card should be unaffected.

Do other games work/does the game work without the memory card? I've corrupted my DDR data countless times before by accident >.<

I haven't checked that yet. I've been a bit lazy about it, but I will soon. Gaaah it would just suck so much ass if I lost my saved game... I'd have to go through all the boring easy levels to re-unlock the songs that actually matter. Ugh.

Yeah, thats the shit end of it >.<

I wish the games had fast-forward balancers so advanced dancers could zoom up to their skill level instead of plodding though all the boring stuff.

I'm pretty sure you can hook up a DDR pad to a computer.
