      Vista question

I just installed the sims 1 on my vista laptop, and I'm stuck at the part when all the expansion packs load. Does anyone know a way I can get past this, because I'd like to play it...

I don't think the Sims 1 works on Vista.

      Sims 2 does though.

Isn't there a compatibility mode you can run in? Try right-clicking on the exe or the shortcut and looking for something along the lines of compatibility mode...

Maybe if you just restart and rerun the installation it might work

The best thing to do it to take you vista laptop, find a hammer, and smash it. It'll work better that way

Replicon should be right, but it's not in the right clock menu. It's under properties (or whatever Vista renamed that.) There should be a compatibility tab.

Yeah, but It's very time consuming to install the program plus expansion and stuff packs, and don't forget custom content.
