most providers will just keep renewing domain names on the day of expiry |

Both a .com and .co.uk are coming up for renewal in March and April respectivly and I am going to try and take them from the current owners, as I want the domains for myself. Is it as simple as when the domain is up for renewal, if the owners don't renew on the renewal day I can get them? |

If the owner don't pay the fee, then it will be up for sale again after I think about two weeks. Different providers might have different policies, I'm only familiar with one. You can do a whois search to see when the domain runs out, but I'm sure you know that already. |

Yeah I already did the search and know the dates they expire, so hoping they would not be renewed so I could get them. Will wait and see |

Depending on how important they are and what you wish to spend, there are services (through GoDaddy.com, for example,) that will pounce the moment something becomes available on your behalf. |

Nice, congrats. Done anything with it yet? Show us when you do! |

Nope not done anything yet - I have my music page (www.djadamash.com) but this is just my name adamash.co.uk so not sure what I want to do with it yet. |
