Thread: Insert SIM error message

i get this error message saying insert SIM on my cell phone
what do i do?? it used to be rarely and i would restart the phone, but now it happens almost every day and sometimes restarting doesn't work. i have also tried cleaning the electric contacts with alcohol, but did not help.
