      This is a tough one

      Hi

I have a Speedlink Medusa ProGamer 5.1 headset with USB connection for power and separate connectors for sound input. It's not a USB headset, just needs the power...

So anyway... once I pop the sucker in (USB), I can hear
      - mouse movement
      - hard drive access
      - graphics card activity
      - scrolling documents
      - etc.

over the headphone. It's a slight buzzing noise and it's annoying. This is all without any kind of sound input from a soundcard, just from the USB connection.

I didn't have this on my previous PC.
Which USB port I use makes no difference.

      Figure this one out! Thanks

couldn't the interference be caused by a poor mother board too?

I get the mouse feedback every once in a while too on my 120$ speaker set =/ unfun

Actually now the cause seems to be the graphics card that has some sort of loose coil.
