      I don't think people buy Microsoft products because of adverts. I personally don't recall seeing any Microsoft adverts on TV. People just buy Windows because everybody else has Windows. It's familar, and it can open Windows files - which everybody uses.

      Wasn't responding to you, I was responding to someone who posted earlier in the thread and was too lazy to quote.

      But yeah, the MS ads were pretty horrible, the only ones that were decent were the laptop hunters ones, because they actually worked.
