      Oh golly gee Mozilla!

      Help.

FF3 keeps vomiting DNS errors and server errors all over my laptop, but all I do is refresh the damn tab and it connects fine.

My intertubes are connected fine, too!

      Whut the phuck.

Re-install firefawx or use IE8 instead.

Try IE for just long enough to determine whether it's a browser issue or something else. It might be your router. It might be that your ISP's DNS (or windows dns caching) is going wacky. Try switchhing your DNS entries in your router to OpenDNS.

Usually I would say "what the hell", but we're talking about seis.

I use Firefox, it works fine, I've heard it buggers itself over on Windows Vista though, because it hates non-Windows programs as much as the oil companies hate electric cars.

FF3 runs fine on Vista here. Maybe Firefox has grudges against some of its users?

Never tried Opera, so I'd never know. Firefox has worked for me for the last 2 years, the only stuff up it has ever has was the INVALID VERB error on hotmail.

Except on the odd occasion on my current Ubuntu install where it manages to use 600MB of RAM with no (zero, zilch, nada) tabs open.

So, Firefox 3 is useful for a backup browser. Generally very robust.

I've been having a lot of problems with Firefox recently so I've just stopped using it altogether. The pages just kept crashing for no raisin and I got sick of it.
At the moment I'm trialling Safari (Apple installed it with my iTunes and I didn't notice till later, haha)... and if I'm not entirely happy I'm going to go back to Opera.
