      my computer

anyone else have a powerful computer like mine? See unlike most of you here, i have a powerful computer. It needs gasoline + electricity to operate. 500 video cards and a 30 terrabyte processor. not bad eh? All of you who want to bash me, get off your high horse.

Get the fuck out of TT with that shit.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

I have 75 graphics cards and a 3 petahertz processor. It's powered by plutonium.

My computer is my Fortress. It runs on light, uses crystals to operate, has processing power beyond conventional measurement, and doesn't need video cards because it renders holographic representations instantaneously via the same methods. It also functions in sub-zero temperatures and is programmed with my father's personality and all the knowledge of who-knows-how-many star systems. The voice-recognition interface is far and away superior to anything else on this planet, too.

      Yeah, my computer kicks ass...

      /thread indeed.

Your voice recognition sucks, my computer has a remote EEG that reads my brainwaves and does what I want without me even talking. It's quantum processor can run circles around yours, especially because it's cooled by liquid helium to nearly absolute zero.

I just wish that I hadn't let microsoft program it, every time it crashes it sets off a small nuclear explosion.

I tried a quantum processor once, but I accidentally observed it when I went in to upgrade the advanced equivalent of RAM and it broke.

On a serious note, IBM is pouring in a decent amount of money into quantum computing research.

Yeah, it's actually looking pretty cool. 3 teraflop processors could be here within the next 3-4 years, if what I've heard is correct. Again, if what I've heard is correct, the NSA has been using these things for over a decade and keeping it top-secret. If that is true, it makes you wonder what the hell they're upgrading to, if they're finally letting this hit the mainstream market?

I think you're making fun of me

I'm serious, of course they are currently only at 28 qubits But that can hold 268435456 different states at once.

No, not making fun of you, though as per half the time my memory was off; it's 400 Gflop/sec, not 3 teraflop.

Here's a link, though I'm not sure how reliable that particular source is, I've read it elsewhere as well. http://www.newtechspy.com/articles06...lcomputer.html
