      Can't access thingsssss, help?

      I have to use a proxy to access DreamViews, and LL. Also, other sites (that I don't really care about) I can't get onto msn either, and diagnosing the problem says I have an invalid IP address. :/ Cannot connect to LL via ftp either. What to do, dear DV? I can't even access google. ;_ ;

      You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

      Do you have a dynamic IP address or static? If it's dynamic why don't you try flushing your IP address and see if that works.

      If you get on MSN i will help you, ungrateful rat.

      But seriously, i had this problem once too. Do you work on a router? Maybe your router screwed up, and you have to fix it.

      In my case, i had a virus that redirected me to a "invalid website" page everytime i went somewhere.

      But yeah, seriously, get on msn.

      I use a wireless broadband usb modem. I cleared my cache, flushed dns, and still can't even access google without a proxy ;_ ;

      Well,
      ipconfig /flushdns
      netsh interface ip delete arpcache
      worked in the end when run as Administrator.

      Yes, I'm on msn now.

      Good Job! Did my advice play a slight roll in recapturing your memory?

      Lol yes, actually.

      I didn't even know it was a dynamic ip at first.

      And here I thought ClouD was a computer expert.

      Pfft.

      Glad you got it fixed, man.

      Lulz sometimes I over think things.

      Also, I was hoping to hear the calm, soothing IT professional words of Ynot.
      I may have to wait until next time.

      (I know you fixed it )

      Are you using a network bridge or running the "Routing and Remote Access" service?

      The ARP Cache shouldn't normally be corrupted... :/

      Really just was annoyed when it said "required elevation", instead of flushing the dns.

      It's because I had to run as Administrator (which I had to google to realise), though I decided I would delete the ARP Cache, just in-case(?).

      I'm don't fully understand, anyway. I just have learnt how to deal with certain problems since I seem to have them so often.
