Thread: Substitute for SmartFTP Client?

Only ever really used FTP to access my Uni space from home, but FileZilla served me well in that capacity.

filezilla, winscp (can do FTP), Filezilla (addon for firefox), gFTP for linux.

Smart ftp is pretty outdated.

Filezilla is the best if you want to do simple stuff and work right out of firefox.

Filezilla is a great client and can do multiple uploads at once and winscp is the best SFTP client

I will check out Filezilla then, just hope I can remember all my passwords lol

Filezilla started messing up on me, so I switched to FireFTP, which integrates into Firefox. I haven't looked back, I love it! It's a Firefox addon, though, so you do have to use Firefox.

I kept saying filezilla when i meant to say fire ftp.

Yah fireftp is great. I use it and it is a fantastic little app.
