      is it possible to get...

      ive finnally fixed my laptop, ive switched the hard drive, but from another make of laptop. none of the drivers etc. are installed because the laptop which my new harddrive used to be in used different hardware that mine.

      i was just wondering if it is possible to download driver software off the internet

      Hard drives have a pretty standard interface, both Windows and OSX have generic drivers that will work with most parts, just not as well as the right driver. You should be able to find the diver on the maker's website. Find out what the make of the laptop that the drive came out of and look for that, the company probably doesn't have them by part but rather by computer.

      ah, well my OS is windows vista. my laptop is an e-system but my new hard drive came from a dell. if you want more specific, the main software i need is a WLAN 802.11 bg.
