Thread: Nintendo DS + EZflash 5

I have a DS lite and an EZflash 5 flashcart that I've been using for homebrew and to play NDS roms with.
I'm using a 2GB miniSD card to keep all my games and such on.
When I turn my DS on with the miniSD card in the EZflash cart, the DS often freezes at the nintendo logo. If i can make it past there, it says that there isn't a card in the DS card slot, when there is.
However, if i put the EZflash cart in without the miniSD card, it reads it fine and tells me that i dont have the kernal yada yada. The kernal is on the miniSD but when it is in the EZflash my DS doesn't want to work correctly.

Suggestions?

Probably corrupt data. You should have went with a better cart though, AceKard 2 and CycloDS Evolution are a lot better.

Better firmware, auto-DILDI patching(AceKard only) for better game compatibility, more support for games that need cracked, such as GTA, and they're just more reliable.

The AceKard is amazing. I bought one for my DS Lite the other week and it works perfectly. Nice and cheap too.

On topic: I would say the firmware you've put on the card is corrupt. Try downloading a new copy from the website.

well the funny thing is, my friend and i traded our EZflash carts and mine works fine on his DS and his works fine on mine. Strange.
