My Comp (Windows Vista) Won't Let Me Delete. Help!

For the record, it has no qualms about deleting other things I want to delete. Just this one thing...

Says it's only deleting two files? Which 2 files are left in the folder?

You could use CMD to delete it, should be fairly simple, you just have to find the files. Open your Start menu, write CMD, right click the program it shows and press "Run as Administrator". You're now in CMD. Here's what you probably need to write:

cd.. <-- write this twice (with the dots)
      cd Users
      cd your-account-name
      cd Desktop
cd I Was In The War
      del *.*

Hey, that's pretty nifty. And it worked. Thanks

Using CMD won't work in all cases, since some files may have restrictions beyond your Administrator powers, but you being unable to delete this particular folder, was most likely because of there being a .dll file in there with a certain name. If you had gone into the folder and deleted each file manually, it would probably have worked fine aswell.

If there's something you can't manipulate in any way, not even through CMD, it's probably because Windows has locked down the file, to prevent you from using it. While this is practical most of the time, it can be very annoying in certain situations, and it can be disabled, but I wouldn't suggest it.
