Computer running 2 copies of windows

ok so i have 60 gigs of hard drive space on my computer but i only have 3 gigs of memory left, so awhile ago i was wondering why there was so much space gone and i dont even have that much stuff on my computer. so one day my pc health check gave me a message and it said i was running two copies of windows, i then realized why all the space was being taken up. so what im wondering is how do i get rid of the other copy of windows?

The only way you can have 2 OS's running one one PC is if you are using a virtual machine. By the way you described your problem, i do not believe that is the case. You can have several OS's installed on one hard drive if you have the drive partitioned into several parts, but only one can run at any given time. If you are out of space on your drive I'd say you should just get another hard drive, they are cheap.

If you have the two operating systems on different partitions, you could just delete the partition with the OS you're not using and merge it with the other partition. It's a somewhat complicated procedure, though, so make sure you know what you're doing or get a more experienced friend to help you or something. You could also get an additional hard drive (or if it's a laptop then exchange the hard drive for a bigger one)
